I would guess follower also if it is the bottom 2 rounds that give the issue. If you can't figure it out try going over here,http://www.mausercentral.com/forum/, lots of helpful folks and some very good gunsmiths on the sight.

I ether loaned out or misplaced my Horandy manual, and I need load data for 129 grain SST in 6.5x55 and 264 Win Mag using IMR 4350,4831,4064,4895. Any help will be apreciated.

But I have wanted a Mannlicher stocked rifle for a long while. I also have wanted a double set trigger rifle (other than my BP Rifles). I love the 6.5x55 for whitetail hunting and target shooting. I hae played with a few Mechtech CCus and they all ran perfectly and shot rather well. Still trying to get my Buddy Steve to take his 10 MM one out, that one should be a real blast.

AT 100 Savage 342 in 22 hornet. If not much wind dime sized groups at 100 no problem. Much over 100 not so good. 200 and up sportered Sweede or 1917.

Yep, make brass from 45/70. 38- 56 headstamped brass is hard to find and pricey. I think Buffalo arms sells ammo for it both ways, but it ain't cheap.

I have left my 1858 copy loaded in climate controlled house for a year with no problem, and carried it for a week during muzzle loader season in FL(damp cool weather to hot muggy weather, no rain though) with an overpowder wad, tight fitting ball, and the caps sealed.

Okay went and looked at it tonight. Its a Rossi, blued receiver, octagon barrel. Pretty clean, hasn't been shot much if at all. Not quite what he remembered it as being but still a pretty rifle.

The current shortage hasn't affected me much in any event though (haven't been shooting that much), I'd like to be able to keep up with replacing my use. If it all suddenly stopped completely, I'd be fine for years for hunting and some practice, just more conservative with practice and fun shooting...
