When the Army sent me to Honduras we fashioned a blowgun from a hospital IV pole and
18ga needles. Deadly accurate, too. We shot at dartboards and rats. The moving targets
were way more fun.

The one that makes my skin crawl is when someone (usually a radiologist) pronounces the word ' centimeter ' as if it is spelled 'Sonnometer'. Are there one hundred 'sonts' in a dollar, or is 100 years a 'sontury'...? I assume it is some sort of Euro-wannabe affectation, but it just makes them sound...
