Re: Any of you guys do the Lyme Disease Vaccine?

I worked with a fellow that almost had to quit working because of the pain until they they figured out that he had Lyme. I'm surprised at the physicians that don't check for Lyme. If you hunt or spend any amount of time in the woods that should be the first thing they check for not the last. I start...

I know, that gas work seems either hot or cold. There is supposed to be a pipeline going in somewhere north of I70 between I79 and Rt19. I don't know how far it is for you but there was work south of St. Clairsville, OH during the summer. I heard talk about people going to jobs north of I70, west of...

first day

Today was the official first day of trout season for most of PA.

I didn't want to rub elbows with the crowds so I tried a native stream I hadn't fished before.

They are usually not very big but they're always pretty.

A question for our Canadian friends

In rjohns94's thread about places to live in Canada someone mentioned Newfoundland. That triggered some old memories. I have some kin in Ontario and when we were younger they would tell "Newfie" jokes. I don't mean to offend anyone, but I was wondering what was the reason for picking on th...

Like most here, I own more than one rifle. I have toyed with the idea of using a single gun for one hunting season. If you are loading over sized bullets, say .432 for your 44 Mag Marlin, the pistol FCD seems to size the bullet down. At least that's been my experience. I'm hoping the "rifle type" FCD will eliminate that problem.
