Pork in the freezer as soon as it gets a little cooler.....They are a blast to hunt and really good to eat :D It took along time for them to get on my place but they are taking over now. It will be some good hunting this fall.Where are you going hunting ? I am looking at a ranch near Lake Okeechobe...

Griff, I had been running teams in a T-2000 up till I injured my shoulder. My co-driver decided he did not want to run in the snow this winter so he hung it up this last week and took a job with Budweiser. I suppose that I will be back in a T-600 when I come out of the house.

I went with the Lyman sight on my 454. Growing up in the Treasure Valley of Idaho hops were grown everywhere along with mint and alfalfa. The three mingled together make for a scent that the nose never forgets.

Look at Hornady's 170 grain round nose bullet designed for the 30-30. Do a Google search on round nose bullets in the 30WCF. Round nose bullets have been used in the 30-30 since it was first produced. That bullet should be just fine.
