Looking for 16ga Model 12 barrel
Got a feller who I used to work for that has a Model 12 16ga. Some previous owner decided to have a poly choke put on the gun. He is wanting to find a barrel for the gun, I have looked on the Numrich website with no luck, and searched a few other sites. Complicating things is the fact that the gun i...

Re: Best semi-auto shotgun
Browning Maxus would be my favorite. I have seen a couple of Benellis choke when the temps got real low (~20's and below), of course this could be because of the type of lube used and not the gun.

GM a few years back was looking at putting a 4.5L (?) Duramax diesel in the 1500 half ton trucks. But that fell through. The thing that sucks about diesel is having to pay more than premium gas prices for it. Then with my truck, I get 16.2mpg (06 2500HD ECSB 6.6 Duramax/6 speed Allison)

I would like to see the mags changed also. Maybe use a AR-308, or a FAL mag. 20 rounds would be more than enough.
Cliff I have one of the Indian SMLE Jungle Carbines. It is more accurate than people give them credit for, holds 10 rounds, and can be fired as quickly as other Enfields.

I pretty much grew up on the New River, my grand parents had a house in Hinton right beside the Museum. I have caught more fish out of that river than I can count. Probably the best small mouth fishing in the state! I still hunt it for waterfowl and fish it heavily. There is no way I would jump off ...

I have a Remington 700 Classic in 8mm Mag, and the STW uses the 8mm case. That's why I threw that out there. 8mm Mag brass is pretty hard to find so I make alot of mine from fire formed 375 H&H. I don't have a H&H and the 8Mag case has a straighter body taper so it won't fit any way. I don't...

I don't think it would cause any damage. I have an old Win 1400 that my grand dad ran steel shot through for years and it is still tight as ever. You probably won't be firing many through that beast any way.

My best luck with the 22 mag was with Winchester Super X (grey box) with 40gr solid or HP bullets. I had a Marlin 922M that wouldn't shoot anything but them, accuracy was minute on squirrel at 100 yards, a Coyote Custom barrel for my G2 loved them also, and the current 22 mag, an Excel Arms Accelera...

6-pt, check out the Norma line of magnum cartridges. The 338 Norma Mag is all the 338 Lapua is and doesn't require the Magnum length action. Stuff a 6.5 or 7mm bullet in that chase and you would have a very nice barrel burner!

Sorry to dig up an old thread but has anybody tried a 2.5" 410 in their 444 lever gun? They will chamber and cycle in my 45-70 1895 Marlin. The 444 with a 16" barrel would be a good home defense gun for a lady if it would feed some of the self defense rounds.
