Re: Jammed Remington Model 34 .22
Thanks guys. It was actually older ammo,,,,,,I haven't had time to try to push it back in yet,,,,,I can't figure out how it ended up like this. Just a little out of the chamber. I'll probably have time to mess with it this weekend..,,I was hoping that I wouldn't have to knock those pins out,,,,and I...

Thanks for your replies. Case seems a little tight, but I'll try pushing it in tomorrow. This is the first jam I've ever had in this rifle. I know you can take the lifter out if you knock out a couple of pins,,but I'd rather not do that,,,,,,,I'll play around with it a little more,,thanks again.

Jammed Remington Model 34 .22
Just need some advice. I've had this Model 34 for 65 years and never a problem. Let my wife shoot it the other day and she was able to get a cartridge jammed. Nothing moves and wondered if anyone had a similar experience. I know there are 2 pins in the carrier that can be punched out to remove it. B...

Yes, very nice. Since you asked about maybe some improvement, you might try to burnish the cut edges of the leather. Makes them look a little more finished. I burnish all my edges. Darkens them and smooths them to a harder finish. But nice work.

Thanks, Pete. I really wasn't sure how the feeding mechanism worked. So, it probably is something with that stop latch. I gave it a really good cleaning so maybe something has broken there. Probably will need to take it to a gunsmith to have it checked out. The spring in the magazine tube rod seems ...

I have a Remington .22 Model 34 that I have had since I was a kid and never had any problem with it. Last time shooting it, it failed to feed the cartridges from the magazine tube. Re: Rossi 92 cartridge stops
Nate, my problem isn't that rounds don't release from the magazine....the problem is that they slip past the stop and are released before they should. This winter I did a few leather projects. My first time working with leather. Middle sheath was the first one....then holster and lastly the knife sheath on the left. Just takes a few simple tools and a little research.
