8.5 gr of Unique is a real accurate plinker in my rifle.
18.0 gr of IMR 4227 was almost as good.
These aren't hunting loads, just plinkers, but they're a heck of a lot of fun

Lee is a lotta bang for the buck, (no pun intended)

Have two Vaquero's.
One birdshead, one regular.
Really like the birdshead, but if the loads get hot, I like the regular grips better. The birdshead seem like it rotates more under recoil than the regular ones. Not a big deal, just a personal preference

I carry a Vaquero when I'm hunting. Usually covered by a coat, but not really trying to be concealed.

For day to day carry, it's a 1911.

All good choices.
Best thing is always get to a well stocked shop and handle as many as you can.
My choices would be, the SP101 for concealed carry, and the GP100 for walk about.

Picked up one in .32 Mag about 6 weeks ago.
Very nice lil' gun, and lots of fun to shoot.
Don't carry it tho. Just a little big for pocket carry, (for me anyway), and if I carry IWB, it's my 1911.
