Re: Henry To Make a .41 Rem Mag Levergun
Wonder how hard it would be to get one to feed and extract 10MM? The barrel would need setting back, ut that would be a lot of bang in a small package. Great companion for a 10MM Delta Elite.

Re: A Black Powder/Flinter Question
Hi - I shoot flintlocks and percussion most often. MY locks are tuned, and the touch holes are .062 to .067" in diameter. That pretty much reduces the need for anything finer than 3F black powder. However, for shooting trap or skeet in nice dry weather I have been known to add some 7F powder, o...

I have one of those H&B 'ahrks. It has a 'pole' or hammerish head on the back. My lawyer happened to catcha glimpse of the similar H&B hawk in the door map pocket and got excited, not in a good way. Seems in MI a poled hawk is a tool, and an ordinary hawk is treated less reasonably... Anyway...

Re: How would you trim hundreds of .243 and .308 to 1.2" Len
Thanks so much for the detailed information.
I'm using a tubing cutter to get a handful for load development.
I'm planning to use a carbide .41 Mag die as I can't locate a custom or factory die. I do have a 45ACP case gauge so I'll know where to set the die for height.

Foster slug shooters in my area regularly buy lunch after shooting against my 46" barreled .62 smoothbore. It shoots a .588 patched ball and anchors deer very effectively. Between 75 and 100 yards I get quite selective on shoot/don't shoot.

Hi -
I have the mold. I buddy was under-employed and cast a bunch from 40-1 alloy. They pattern as good or better than Remington, Win., or Federal Foster slugs they replace. We are using Blue Dot.
I am haven't gotten them over the chrono yet.
I'd like to get the 20 gauge version.

I've been working with that 12 Gauge Lyman Sabot Slug also. I am having similar results. So far 44gr Blue dot is grouping nice like yours. I need to get if over the chrono before I make any more.
I'm using the cheapest Federal low brass shotshell hulls and an 8 point crimp.

I like it. Great for kids, small women, useful in the field if I do my part. I personally don't see need for something smaler.
