I use CB longs in my 9422. They are quiet and good on squirrels at short range.
I have never tried Colibri but have heard they can hang up in a rifle barrel and are only supposed to be used in revolvers.

I have allways done well with German Weirhrach springers. I have allways chose 177 for faster and flatter shots. 22 air guns are to curvey and don't do anything particular good when they connect IMO. I have had many including pump up and reservior but still prefere the ease and independance of a sp...

Personally I find that type of air rifle a pain in the butt. If I have to use an air gun I prefer the single shot break barrel type. My son uses a Webley .177 and it's deadly on rabbits, squirrels and crows. I use a .22 BSA but it does not have the quality of the old BSAs. If I need low power repeat...

I don't have a 66 but I have a 73 Carbine it dates back to the mid 70s and has a butt plate trap door for the cleaning rods and it has the correct sights. It can be a bit fussy about ammo but is a real fun rifle and has taken many rabbits and squirrels. http://i219.photobucket.com/albums/cc145/cabel...

I've taught several woman to shoot. Let her shoot several types. Sounds like a long gun is out - shotgun always being the first choice for home defense. Since she wants a hand gun, I'd recommend a 4-inch .357. She can shoot mild .38's through it for practice, and magnums through it for business. No...

When I worked for Westley Richards they were still making their own brand of cartridges, Game Load and 729 Express both 12 gauge. Every now and then one coming down the shoot into the collecting box would hit a primer just right and set it off. The girls that did the packing would scream and run for...
