BITCHIN', WAILIN', WHININ', AND MOANING....

Post by Terry Murbach »

I LIKE THE NEW SITE HERE OKAY BUT IT IS NO WHERE AS EASY TO FIND THINGS ETC.
WE NEED ONE OF THE " ACTIVE " BUTTONS LIKE THE OLD SITE. YOU WOULD CLICK ON THE BUTTON AND ALL THE POSTS WITH SOMETHING NEW SINCE YOU WERE LAST HERE JUMP RIGHT UP TO YOU.
WE NEED TO SET THIS UP SO WE CAN TELL WHAT IS WHAT WITHOUT GOING THROUGH THE DANGED LIST LOOKING AT ALL THOSE LITTLE ITTY BITTY LETTERS.
IT MAY WELL JUST BE ME BUT THE COLORATION HERE IS DIFFICULT FOR ME TO COPE WITH. IT MAY BE BECAUSE I AM RED/GREEN COLOR BLIND [ AND BY THE WAY RED GREEN IS A HECK OF A FUNNY CANNUCK...!!] AND EVEN A DOZEN MOOSE HEAD BEERS WILL NOT MAKE UP FOR IT.
SO MAYBE THE KEG OF GROLSCH IN THE FRIDGE WILL...I NEVER THOUGHT OF IT BEFORE....MAYBE SOME SERIOUS RESEARCH IS IN ORDER HUH ??

Can't help ya with the active topics, But you can change the resolution On your screen to make the text bigger..

As for beer, I've not tasted the kind you have, but I've found that Guinness Extra Stout smooths out a lot of things when applied in large quantities.

Right on about Red Green Terry. I guess it must be a guy thing. My wife doesn't see the humor. I know one thing, if he was from Georgia instead of Canada he'd never be on PBS.
My only problem is the size of the text in the box when I'm responding to a post. It makes me put ma readin glasses on. I guess I'll just go but a pair of them bifocals so I'll have 'em on all the time.

My daughter introduced us to the Red Greed show when she was in high school. What a funny guy. Miss that show. Found it on DVD and plan to order.

Terry, sounds like your doin just fine, and no one that matters will mind if you vent here, thats for sure.

I was thinkin it would be a real dirty trick to change the font color to red or green.

We've got the active button. It is what I use. Go to the forum index and look to the right and you'll see "View posts since last visit". That's it. Then bookmark it OR just go here and bookmark it.

Terry, Windows and Mac has a function in the settings section for the vision-impaired...

It makes things on the page HUGE!

As for your color-blindness, there are other forums that use this format but have different styles instead of this color scheme. Maybe we don't have those because we are merely guests.

Terry for larger text on your screen do this.
Click on start, then click on control panel, find the picture of a monitor that is called display. Click on that. Then click where it says settings. There will be a "slide adjuster" to enlarge the resolution of your screen. Click and drag on that, then click OK
