Re: Replacing an under sink disposal

When we had new counter tops installed several months ago I replaced the old double sink with a new single deep cast iron one. The old disposal had become somewhat corroded, so it was tossed in favor of a more powerful and shorter model. As you can see, there isn't a lot of working room under there,...

Takes about a half hour at the outside. Just ensure that it is lined up straight with the threads when you lock it in place. I put a super quiet compact Eco Insinkerator under our new sink a few months back. :)

Carson has it's share of yuppies, old school hippies, gays(inc. terminology) and plenty of plain old gun lovin' Nevadans. Drive a few mile south to Gardnerville-Minden and you'll see fewer of the leftist types. I once owned 10 acres in the area but my ex took care of that.

They look good, did you check the throat of the barrel and find what the lead is before the rifling. Re: Straight grip buttstock on a model 71

Easiest scenario might be finding a Browning 348 carbine barrel and screwing it on a 1886 EL. Adding a FM on that is cake. You need a Browning 1886 carbine tube and a front mag hanger for a original '86. Repros are made of the type that twist into the dovetail that would be made under the barrel. As...

Yes, with caveats. A Browning/Miroku 1886 lower tang will likely fit the Browning/Miroku 71. To be honest, though, I have not examined the action of a Browning 71, but they pretty much have to be the same as the 1886. All, including the original Winchester Model 71 used the coil main spring. Don, are you talking original or Browning copy? It's cake with the Browning, but a little more difficult with an original. A Miroku 1886 EL stock will fit the Browning and a original 1886 shotgun stock will work on the old one. You can also utilize a ELW forend.
