Anyone here have suggestions for hand lubing cast bullets? My cast bullets drop at .4605-.461 and I do not want to run them through the sizer as this is perfect for my TD's. Fit to be tied! Can not get this gun to fire consistently. In fact, not at all. Used J Miller's solution of brake cleaner, actually soaked the bolt in it. Thought it was a good show.
From pictures that I could dig up, there were more Winchester '73's than '66s. But the predominate "rifle" were the Trapdoors.

If you bought it used could be a previous owner put in a lighter hammer spring. It was brand new in the box, couple-three years ago I first tried to fire it...no go, not even an indent on the primer. Sprayed WD 40 into it, soaked the pin, worked the dickens out of it and managed to fire a few round...

All of them... Would not make an exception based solely on caliber. Actually used a .30-30 on Moose in Quebec, it was quite affective...only needed one shot.
