. IIRC, they were made in the Austrian town of Kufstein and imported into the US by one of the now defunct importers. I remember seeing ads for them in gun rags of the day by importers like Flaig's, Stoeger, Old West Scrounger, etc, etc. I think that they were bought out & moved to Germany sometime ...

IMO, it depends upon the brass/cases used.

If you use balloon head cases, I wouldn't advise heavy loads; but might be OK with solid head cases.
