I haven't dove hunted for 55 years and then used a 20 Ga. Back then, all I had was a single shot my dad let us use.

Yes, if I have pants or a robe on, I have a handgun. At least a J-frame in .22 MAG up to a .44 MAG, and normally, there is a long gun close. In this country, I have, but on rare occasions, shot critters.

Ted H, I have some friends I stop in on up there as I drive to Alaska almost every year, if you want them to try to acquire a set. I have weapons permits to carry up there, and a set of barrels would fit in my Truck and Trailer.

nice country and pictures. you do know there was a BIG bull elk hanging out at he bottom of that 'hole in the ground', don't you? ;) and he was sayin' "I dare you to come and get me". .. At my age, walking around on the top is my limit. But I did check the wash leading into it for tracks ...

Re: Mini Mauser CZ527
I don't have a CZ527, but I do have two CZ452s, one in .22 LR and .17 HM2 I bought in 2005. I bought the .22 to use for small game hunting with a suppressor, but it was too good-looking to chop and thread. Then I bought a new 452 in .17HM2 and threaded it. I have two Nephews who think that during s...

I thought I would share photos of the last day of Elk Muzzle Loader season in Section 8 on the Monogolan Rim in AZ, where not seeing where you are walking through the bush has consequences. Lots of game, but the two bulls we saw had the class on how to stay out of range of Black Powder. This is 10 ...

I used to muzzle-load pellets into a .22 Rifle when I ran out of ammo in the 60s with a starter gun blank. Better than a suppressor.
