isn't that a military version? it has an upper handguard... where's his badge? the texas rangers normally proudly wore their badges. very stern, no-nonsense, looking man except the muzzle down on the carpet. i'd guess the rounds are the 30-40 krag...possibly '06 or 45-70..regardless i would NOT want...

i have a 22 WMR in the form of the CZ 452-2E ZKM; it's a wonderful rifle. it was very accurate but I've floated the barrel and pillar mounted it in the stock and haven't gone to the range yet to check how it affected accuracy.

I'd opt for the 9mm. ammo is very available and inexpensive. one of the boxes of American Eagle i have says on it: 115 FMJ, 1160 FPS not bad for factory ammo. lots of folks will say it's 'anemic' or 'ineffective' or 'lacking' but i wonder why most military and LE worldwide opt for the 9mm? they cert...

there's nothing wrong with a lever rifle for "bad times". i happen to have an EBR..the Ruger P9, 9mm carbine that is companion to my P95DC and i have a 38/357 lever with a companion Taurus 38/357 revolver all are quite capable in a SD/HD scenario against what we will more than likely face ...

i have the ruger P9 9mm, semi-auto, carbine and it's a very accurate carbine with VERY respectable velocities from the longer tube. the speer manual i have says you can get 1200 fps from a semi-auto pistol barrel form a 100 grain bullet...not too shabby. i personally feel the 9mm has been overshadow...

38/357 Taurus revolver and an 1895 38/357 lever carbine...the .357 is capable of taking very large game, and capable of dealing with the bipedal predators as well...don't have to worry about different ammo, light in hand...accurate...ammo available almost anywhere you go. even the .38 special fired ...
