I thank Paco for his open site that allows this group to gather and I thank Hobie and AMBRACOL for a trusting me with the green name tag. Been a nice ride. Think I will move on. I don't think the idea that because everyone else does it, or that's it's everywhere so we should it is a very good indicator of what is or is not acceptable. I think back to when Paco and Jim T and other Shootist would post, and I can't remember one of them finding the need to post shots of young ...

I would like to know how they would perform on large Rabbits, unfortunately there are no Rabbits where I shoot, only Hares and I won't shoot them.
I think they would do the job well, they certainly work well on Squirrels at between 35 and 75 yds.

Re: Hunting is not what you can kill but a fair chase.
I love hunting and I always try to be fair to my quarry, I also have worked in pest control for over 30 years. I have to kill pests with little hunting involved, just killing as quickly and humanely as I can. I value and respect the life of quarry that I hunt and I also respect the pests that I have...

Keep him guessing Dad. Confusion is your only weapon from now on. You'll never be as young and strong as him again. On the plus side, every time he beats you at something you did your best on, you will be more proud, not hurt. It's like a nod that you taught him well and that he learned well. Salut...

I don't mind either S/S or O/U as long as it has double triggers, single triggers on a double barreled shotgun are just a complicated breakage waiting to happen.
I know some single triggers never give trouble but I've seen too many of the other kind to trust 'em.

Not really airsoft, I bought Shirley a genuine Makarov CO2 BB pistol, it fires steel or lead BBs and you would not want to shot with that....

Like I said, I CAN see it being fun but I've taught a few kids from non shooting families how to shoot and be safe with firearms, it is getting harder nowadays as kids are all playing video games and using soft air guns, a lot of youngsters do not realise that pointing any gun at someone is a no no....

I have very little time or patience for "airsoft". If you want to shoot at people in a non-lethal way use Squirt Guns, Paint Ball Markers or Simunitions. But BB gun "wars" have always got my dander up... I agree, I can see it being fun to a kid who can't get to shoot real guns b...

I remember seeing similar books in the school library back in the late 50s.
I very much doubt that in politically correct Britain they will be found now...
Great idea though, get them young and teach them properly...
