Right she'll force each state to do it on it's own, that way the state can foot the bill.

My father was a Mason. I've thought of joining at times but I've always been too busy. Things have slowed down a bit since my son graduated from high school. I've been told that there has never been a Mason convicted of murder in this country. I've also hear that there are some lodges that are Musli...

Scott, I'll put you on my list. My wife is an RN so I know there's a lot to learn. If there's anything we can do or questions you need answered I'm only an e-mail away, feel free any time. Might I also suggest along with your prayers reading a chapter out of the book of Proverbs every day. Just read...

*** UPDATE*** I went to the range today to sight in my Handi rifle after swapping scopes. I also took five of the new cat sneeze loads that I cooked up last night. After the sight in was done I fired three of the loads. I couldn't see a thing, not a mark on the paper. I was afraid of that. about tha...

Ji, If you look in the bow there should be a small oval plate that has a ser. # on it. they often have the date right there with the number. If not there is a web site but I don't know the address right off, but you can tell the date when it was made. But wait, don't you have that on the paperwork t...

Cat Sneeze loads
Well I finally got around to doing a little work on these things. I thought I'd use my .30-30 Handi Rifle as the work platform for these since the barrel is somewhat shorter than my Ruger #1 in .308. The first step was to drill out the primer pockets of 5 cases with a 7/64th bit. With the flash hole...

Personally I have an old Hi-Standard .22 mag derringer that I've had since I bought it new in 1976. I've used it as a backup to larger pistols and as the primary gun when nothing else could be carried. I always figured even two shots from a .22 mag would be better than a jab in the eye with a sharp ...

I know they'd be slow, but hey we're talking about a single shot anyway. The accuracy might be a concern. According to Ruger their #1-V has a 1:12 twist. IIRC most rimfires have a 1:16 so it shouldn't be that far off. I might be wrong about the 1:16 that just comes to mind. I'm just thinking that in...

OK y'all got me to thinkin over night while I was workin. Since a .22 rimfire #1 doesn't seem to be in the cards I was thinkin a #1 in .223 using chamber adapters might just be the next best thing. Has anyone had much experience with those chamber adapters? I was wonderin just how well they might wo...

It seems that Hilary was out shopping one day and found a beautiful piece of fabric. She bought what was left on the roll to have a suit made by one of her tailors. There is a gunsmith in Pa. I think IIRC that will build you a .22 rimfire #1. When I was checked I'm thinking he was getting something like $230 for the conversion. So there you have roughly $750 for the rifle then another $230 to convert it. That's a lot of money for a .22 rimfire. I have a #1 in ....
