I scope nearly every rifle I own. I just plain shoot better. Not all of my rifle projects are levers, but scopes are usually involved. http://i110.photobucket.com/albums/n82/handirifle/DSCN1431.jpg  This is in early stages of development  , with LOTS of room for improvement at this point. ...

Well my plan is to test in all manners if possible. I'm only getting 5 bullets so the test will obviously be limited in scope. What leverluver says makes sense, and the thicker sides was a concern mentioned by Barnes, but I have nothing to lose and a great 375 BB bullet to gain if it works. At any r...

Re: Scoped 1894c
What's you guys opinion of the Weaver K2.5 on an 1894c? That's what I have on my 1895GS and it fills the bill nicely. Good scope, handles recoil well and is bright and clear. The ONLY drawback, to me, is when sighting in at longer ranges, it would be nice to know if it was me or the load opening th...

Gonna do a test
I'm getting a small sample (5) of the Barnes 235gr TSX bullets http://www.midwayusa.com/eproductpage.exe/showproduct?saleitemid=536854&t=11082005 to test in my 375 Big Bore. These are spire point bullets, but Iam going to cut the nose off just like I did the Hornady's. I'll try them as hollow po...

You never read this from me, but I have finally been able to get a TRUE razor edge on my knives. I use a very light CIRCULAR MOTION (I didn't say that, you didn't hear it from me). The angle is very improtant but if I just stroke the darn thing, I too, could copy and paste the first post. Note the e...

If this passes it will cost very little to us, because NO ONE WILL SELL HANDGUNS IN CA EVER AGAIN which is exactly what the bills backers want. This is NOT about stopping or solving any crime, but maing a criminal out of a gun owner. Not the then of the bill that says it will be illegal to buy or se...

Well they attack the innocents, and claim we do, so we ought to at least live up to the lies they spit. If you pound them back into the sand, eventually they'll either run out of suicide bombers or decide it's no longer worth it. But we'll never have to worry about that cause there's too many that h...

The only difference is the length of the shell. The .375 is a tad shorter, but the COL is the same. Therefore if you are shooting cast, it should make no difference. With the price of Hornady 220's sky rocketing, anybody know where I can get a deal on 'em. Still have not found a decent gc cast bull...

Maybe I didn't see it right, but the hammer wouldn't lock back anywhere but full cock in this one. If that funky safey is ALL there is tht's just plain weird. Are you guys saying they're half cock? It really didn't feel like it. I did like the fit and feel of the rifle, and of course Big 5 ALWAYS ha...

This one likes 37.5 grains of Re-7 in a .375 case lit by a Fed210 primer, topped with a Hornady 220-gr. There must be some magic in that sequence of 3-7-5. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v242/e5y/DSC01916.jpg scott RSY That looks just like mine. Williams FP on top of my BB. Mine likes 36...

Puma 357 mag
Looked at a Puma 357 mag at Big 5 store today. liked everything but the safety. it sits on top and looks like stuff. looks very flimsy and weak.
Are all the Pumas like this?
It's on sale for $399
