I always thought a clip was what a Garand used and it pops out after the last shot and a new one inserted. That would explain why the old timers of WW2 era referred to them a clips. A magazine was reusable, used in a 1911 and some types of machine guns. But....what do I know.

The Elusive Colt SAA Cylinder
I tried for a while to find a .45 ACP cylinder for my Colt 3rd gen .45. For some reason Colt won't sell them to private parties. Midway had them advertised for a decent price but backordered. I ordered one in January of this year and was told it would be late February before they would get them in. ...

I haven't heard of any issues with ammo and flying other than its supposed to be in factory boxes or similar type boxes for the transport. I've been really successful with the 45-70 Leverevolution stuff and for the 30-06 I use 180 grain Nosler Partitions. http://i237.photobucket.com/albums/ff7...

From my understanding, the military went to the .45 for the stopping power when the .38s weren't effective. The Moro warriors would be high on drugs and tie torniquetes on various parts of their bodies to slow bleeding when they attacked. The .38 wasn't putting them down after multiple shots. A big ...
