I don't know how good they are but Harbor Freight sells some for about $300. They have night vision capabilities and you can access from your smart phone. Here's a link. I always thought a clip was what a Garand used and it pops out after the last shot and a new one inserted. That would explain why the old timers of WW2 era referred to them a clips. A magazine was reusable, used in a 1911 and some types of machine guns. But....what do I know. :?

excellent, what rifle / load will you use? I usually take a couple rifle and switch out. Marlin XLR in 45-70 and a Tikka 30-06. I don't reload. I've been really successful with the 45-70 Leverevolution stuff and for the 30-06 I use 180 grain Nosler Partitions. http://i237.photobucket.com/albums/ff7...

Wyoming draw results are in. I put in for a general tag (any elk) and a reduce price cow/calf. I got the general tag! Now I'll be planning and obsessing for months! :D :D :D
This will be my 22nd year, I believe, hunting Wyoming. About 18 elk taken. Man, this never gets old!

I love my Harley. Now that I'm retired I want to go on longer rides. Also like taking my 5th wheel up in the Sierras and trout fish. In the fall and winter I chase elk in Wyoming. I can't wait to start taking the grandkids camping and fishing.

For 20+ years we've eaten mostly elk for burgers, roast and steaks. We have beef if we go out but I can't remember the last time I bought beef at the market. I guess if you factor in the non-resident tag, gas, food, butchering, etc, it starts to add up......but its sure is fun.
