Very nice Old West Baton!
But I doubt if weighting it with lead would be legal everywhere today.
A Mag-lite is more politically correct until you conk someone over the head.

Re: Ruger takes Smith & Wesson to court over its iconic .22-caliber rifle
Ruger better be careful, lest Colt sue them over their Blackhawk and Vaquero copies of the famous Single Action Army. And their 1911 models.
And Kel-Tec might sue them for their LCP copies of the P3AT.

Re: 357 lever gun 16 vs 20 inch barrel
All the cowboy action shooters seem to prefer the 20" over the 16".
Not for the increased velocity.
Not for the longer sight radius.
Just for the ten round capacity.

Well worth watching, but like most true stories the ending was a predictable let-down.
Movie slowly coasted at the end. They could have added an epilogue.

Re: One rifle, one pistol
Because the OP specified "unlimited support" and "found a ton of ammo" I won't consider resupply issues, and I'll take my AK47 underfolder and Glock 17. Both are pretty concealable, accept 30-33 round mags, common military choice, and reliable even during high round count torture...

This isn't the first year that Iver Johnson announced they would finally produce this pepperbox. I'll believe it when I see it.

Reminds me of John Delorean, who made some great cars until he discovered cocaine.

Shoot any creature on earth enough times in the face with anything, and he'll try to leave you alone.
Of course bigger is better, but anything beats nothing.

Don't forget to cock the hammers at the loading table; I'll never get those lost seconds back.

Not unless you choose to compete in the Classic Cowboy category.
Most of us choose the age-related categories, where costume rules are much looser, but I still use a TTN hammered SxS.

There's a guy with a tent set up at the Mason Dixon Stampede who will make those tintypes for about $50.

Re: Any good recoil pads for the Rossi 357 lever ?
I'm thinking of lacing on a recoil pad primarily to reduce slippage out of my shoulder pocket. Second benefit would be to keep it from slipping when I lean it vertical. Third benefit would be length of pull, but I can adjust myself either way. Fourth benefit would be training new shooters. After my ...

Re: Preferred length for M92?
Today I voted with my VISA card for the M92 in 20" length, round barrel, .357 magnum. It's my first levergun, and this is my first post. I compared it to the 24" octo which was $489 instead of $419. I swung them both around a little (at a very large and crowded gunshow) and decided to go w...
