Re: Help w/a Marlin M94 measurement
My 20" round barrel 45 Colt Marlin 94 measures .648 at the muzzle. Your mileage may vary, but probably not much.

Re: Wideners has Wolf primers on sale
Sure glad I didn't get caught up in paying $60/K for primers or $450-500 for a case of 223 ammo last year. I haven't heard nothing bad about the Wolf primers but haven't personally used them. Now would be a good time stock up.

Re: need forearm puma 92
I am trying the super glue fix. I also pulled the stock and stripped it and the forearm. Gave them a dark walnut oil stain and finishing with Tru Oil. Will be looking for a piece of round brass stock to make a magazine follower. Might be a good time to deal with the safety even though I rarely notic...

Re: need forearm puma 92
I called Rossi this morning and they would not sell me a forearm since it was sold by Legacy Sports Int. I guess everything is completely different between legacy's Rossi's and Braztech-Rossi guns????? I will have to call Precision Gun Works to be sure their forearm is correct.

Re: need forearm puma 92
J Miller, COSteve and Griff, thanks for the tips and the lead on the forearm. I will give Rossi a call tomorrow and see what they want for one then decide which one to get. The forearm at Precision Gun Works looks like the right one. I bought the rifle from a well know gun shop on the internet and n...

need forearm puma 92
About 3 years ago I bought a LSI 92 357 mag and life was good. It has sat in the safe most of its life and has around 80 rounds through it. I pulled it out Saturday to take it shooting and noticed that the forearm had developed a crack the full length of it. This happened just sitting in the dark in...

Wow. I guess I will be slamming my intended PM receiver with a bunch of repeated messages. Good to know how it works. Thanks for helping.

forum technical question
When I send a PM to a member or reply to a PM it goes into the outbox and doesn't show up as being sent in my sent box. Is there a way to force the PM out of the outbox and have it be sent to the intended recipient?

Re: Puma 44 Mag SS octagon barrel Model: PUM50011
Sent NKJ a message last night off of his website. Waiting to hear from him and see his prices. I am hoping to be able to use commonly available bullets that are stocked locally. My LaserCast 240 gr SWC mic out at .431 . Did anyone ever hear if the SS barrels meassured any different than the blued ba...

Puma 44 Mag SS octagon barrel Model: PUM50011
Does anyone have any idea of what the bore diameter of the most recent Puma 44 Mag barrels are. I searched and found a few older posts that indicated that they were oversized (.434) and good accuracy was only obtainable with comparably sized bullets. I sold all my casting equipment about a year befo...

Re: POLITICS - JOIN THE NRA
I could have bought several lifetime memberships for the $ I have spent over the last 28 years. I never had the spare dough to go lifetime. Its too bad that they don't offer a reduced lifetime rate after a certain number of yearly membership. I would have to live another 33 1/3 years to to make it w...

Re: POLITICS - Curiouser & Curioser...
It all sounds good, but without the MSM to propel the story into the light of day, how many people are going to hear about it and get worked into a frenzy? After all, the news networks haven't been real active with any negative news on Obama. Now, if this had been a Republican, it would be the leadi...

Re: OT-Politics-We are done!
I lasted 7 minutes and left to go reload ammo. I don't know why McCain doesn't grow a set and point out all of Obama's flip-flops when he says them. Why didn't he ask why he is all for drilling, coal plants, and nuclear power now, when just a month ago all we had to do was properly inflate our tires...

I ordered parts for a Win 94 online. All showed as available. I paid and was charged full shipping for total of parts. 3 days later get an email stating 98% of parts were unavailable. I called and asked why they charged me full shipping cost and why they even bothered to ship two pins at all. They s...
