Re: thoughts on the 375 BB winchester?

I have one. It is everything you could want in a lightweight carbine. Mine holds 2.5 inches from the sitting position at 100 meters with a Williams FP and is powerful enough for anything in North America. I like it because it is light weight, carries easy, is accurate and powerful.

You know 86er, you are right!!! as a matter of fact I am going to by a 375 Remington Ultra Mag and use it for everything in North America, Powerful and Flat shooting! I can use the wood stocks of my leverguns as firewood this winter, that's all they are good for anyways! LOL

Re: What are you going to deer hunt with?

I am happy to return after a long absence. This is a great topic to start again on! I am going to hunt in Missouri with my W-94BB 375 Winchester with William FP. I will carry my Ruger .357 blackhawk flattop (anniversary edition) on my hip. I keep my M-70 (pre-64) 30-06 with Leupold Vari-X III 2.5-8 ...

I guess the M4 and the M9 have the most votes! Given a choice; I would have carried the M4 and my .45 Auto. Combat Commander. If I was by myself; I would have carried an AKM and a FN Hi-power under cover to fit in.

Four; that is quite a choice: Like everyone else: a 45-70 with heavy loads, sticking with what I own: an 1895 with Ghost Ring Sights. My Remington 870 12 GA 28" Barrel for fowl of any kind. I would purchase a 18" Cyl barrel for backup when not hunting. My Ruger Super Blackhawk 44 Mag My Da...

Keep in contact with the police, document and photograph everything, contact the cities gang task force if they have one. Find out if other neighbors have the same concerns and if so bring them in on it. Contact the landlord too. Installing lights outside that stay on. Thats just a start.
