Simply put, Spam is the best thing they ever canned. It lasts for years, if the can don't get wet. It's loaded with protein and fats, both of which you need. Makes an ideal addtion to the emergency supplies. I'll be those that don't like it would sure eat it up if they were hungry.

Got smacked on the head once. A couple of days later while driving, I suddenly realized I had no idea where I was. I mean completely baffled. Heck, I could have killed a bus load of nuns and not known it. Took a bit to figure out where I was. Doc said concussion. Ain't never doing that again.
