I believe that's a Deutsch Drahthaar puppy. If not, it's a German Wirehaired Pointer puppy.

The only reason I know is 'cause I live with one that went grew up on me.

1894 Winchester 38-55 Bore Size?

My Uncle just purchased an older original Winchster 1894 in 38-55 and I'm wondering what the bore may measure. I've scrounged up a old Lyman 37584 mould and I guess I'd like to use it if at all possible. Sorry I don't have photos of the lever, she's still at the gun shop. It's a round barrel (26'?) ...

OT- Lawyer Joke

A lawyer runs a stop sign and gets pulled over by a Sheriff's Deputy. He thinks that he is smarter than the Deputy because he is a lawyer from New York and is certain that he has a better education than any cop from Houston, Texas. He decides to prove this to himself and have some fun at the expense...

We also had a Remington 700 in 35 Whelen. We probably went three years without seeing that chambering and then two showed up during the very same week. 8)

I don't think guns required serial numbers until 1968.

I have a semi-auto .22 Marlin that doesn't have a number on it anywhere. I don't think they thought some models important enough to record.

Push has come to shove and I'm going to have to sell a few guns to keep above water. I've been doing some serious soul searching while trying to figure out which ones to sell off.
