Re: FTX bullet for 32 Spec?

I'd expect you'd get about the same performance as the 30-30 variety, as long as your gun likes them. My, and my sons 30-30 both shoot them accurately, makes a 30-30 perform like it's on steroids. :)

Re: Remington 30-30 ammo : 170 grain hollow tip

Stick with the 150 or 170 Corelokt SP"s
It sounds counter intuitive but that HP is designed for deeper penetration and won't perform like the SP's, why they thought it was a good idea is beyond me, the 170 CL penetrates just fine as it is.

If you want a faster response on deer, try the 150's.

Does anyone have any luck with these?, what brands?
Every one I've used starts to fail the same season as bought. Leaking, bad on off valve, cheap broken plastic parts....

I generally use it to spray a bleach solution, and an occasional Roundup application.

The V point target is interesting. Usually, I just make a "cross" (+), with black electric tape on a white paper plate.
I use this for all scope and peep sighting in.
May not be the MOST precise, but works well enough.

Never liked one, took it off 40 years ago and have no idea where it went.
On a lot of guns that have peep sights installed, they often need a higher front sight, so the hood wouldn't fit anymore anyway.

Well I have, on two 336's, with Williams FP's installed as low as it would go, both needed taller front sights.
On my 71 336, I ended up with a .500 tall front, could have gotten by with a .470 or whatever is closest to that with the available heights.
