Well...... I did it!

I went and put a handle on my Henry 22mag, just couldnt live with the little gun with iron sights,much to much for my neck. I guess I might as well put a sling on it now :o

I had the pleasure of meeting Ted at a gun shop show a couple years ago, one serious dude, maybe a little loose but an ok guy. His TV show just makes me laugh a bit, he is an expert killer and you can see it in his eyes. You never know what he is going to say or do next. :o

I did 30 days in a recliner last year... with 3 months of casts, walkers, canes and pt after they let me back to work. I agree about the pelt dammage, that round will leave a hole on exit that a softball can pass through. I have a springfield, semi sporterized, good shooter, use 110 gr for chucks.
I have shot yotes with my 25.06 and the lighter bullet brings home the pelt without to much dammage.

Thanks for the warm welcome guys. The Henry is just a start I can tell already, been lokin at 30 30 for bear or maybe 44 mag?
