Where I go grouse hunting in Ontario there is a large rock with an imprint of two big feet in it, one almost perfect the other a bit messy, very strange. :?: :?:

Clean all my Marlins by removing the bolt and cleaning from the breech.
Winchesters I usually run a bore snake thro' from the breech and then clean from the muzzle with a rod guide, I put a bit of cloth in the action to catch any stuff.

5.5gr Trail Boss with a cast 205gr.
Crawls out of the barrel at 855 fps but is deadly accurate and fast enough for the 100yd silhouettes.

Just last week I had a batch of misfires in my old Marlin 44-40 with CCI primers, I know it was not lube contamination as I tumble after sizing, all primer hits were normal, I just reckon I got a bad batch. I never normally use CCI but thats all that was available at the time.
