157 Hammer bullets and 58 GR of AA2495. 2930 fps. Devastating and super accurate.
I was told the 200 gr flextips were discontinued as were the 200 flat point.

Re: Help needed with front sight
Will is giving good advice. Other than the sights, what do you think of your Huckleberry so far? I just don't know quite what to think about the aluminum receiver. Very very accurate and other than my Sako finnwolf the slickest lever I played with, and I have a lot of them. The trigger averaged out...

Help needed with front sight
Hey guys I need some help here. I just bought a G-Force huckleberry 357 lever. It is pretty much a copy of the 1892 especially the Rossi version. The problem I'm having is it has this big fluorescent front sight which basically covers a 5-in circular target at 50 yd. I'm not fond of these glow sites...

Re: Scoping the winchester Angle eject 94
What rear sight does your gun have? Is it the factory sight with the two small binding screws holding the sight plate to the base? Yes sir that is the one but like I said at 25 yards I had to move the whole sight and the leaf part (with the 2 screws) all the way down. In fact if you look closely th...

Re: Scoping the winchester Angle eject 94
I agree I should be able to use the sights with the scope removed but with a #95 rear base not even remotely close~
I guess I have to start removing. As for the front sight I guess I need like a .67" high....Good luck with that I guess........

Scoping the winchester Angle eject 94
Is there a way where you can scope it (ie Weaver bases rings) and be able to remove the scope and still access the open sights? I have a set of weaver bases on my 30-30 and them "block" looking bases completely cover the sights. Especially on mine that shoots kinda high to begin with and t...

Actually did not help since I have a receiver peep sight
Is middle of bead to bottom of dovetail the industry standard for measuring sights
So in the following image we measure the gold part only right?

I have a browning 71 in 348 Winchester. I found a load that is deadly accurate but my rear peep (Williams) can NOT go low enough so the load shoots high. Looking to get a 348 Winchester but not sure which is a a better gun.
Anyone have any experience with the new winchester 71? They introduced it 2 years ago I think. How is the browning?
Any input is surely appreciated.

Help with rear sight please!!!
I saw a 1895 Marlin the other day. It had a really nice rear sight which replaced the factory standard sight. It was a ladder type for long range shooting (not a peep). It had graduations on it like the older Henrys, if you know what I mean, and it locked on the graduations do it would not slide up/...
