I shoot nothing but black in my Shiloh Military Carbine. I would take it to hunt anywhere. It will drop deer with surprising authority, though I should not be surprised. :D

I think the little short barrelled SKS rifles are probably the best thing going for a 4 wheeler gun. Dust and mud don't slow them down and they are very popular for hog guns.

It has always amazed me that when revolvers let go, generally the shooter is not hurt badly. I have never had one come unglued in my presence, but have seen quite a number of them over the years. It must be unnerving to have it let go in your hand.

My Ford 7.2 litre Diesel is still going strong at 230,000 miles, but it does not seem to get as good mileage as it used to. I think the low sulphur fuel might have something to do with it.
