Don't put it off. If you keep delaying it you will never go. This year it's this, next year it's that. One day you wake up and you are sucking on an oxygen bottle and somone is changing your diaper.

Re-arrange your priorities and do it while you can.

You will not regret it.

The thread about primer indications of pressure made me dig out some of the old stuff. http://www.leverguns.com/web/primer1.jpg Which cartridge had the highest pressures? http://www.leverguns.com/web/primer2.jpg The one on the left was a factory 210 gr. load fired in a .44 Magnum. In my case, it's the gun. I look at it as normal for it. I get really deep primer strikes and a little flow on any spicy load that flattens the primers. 110, 296, 2400, Lil'gun.... The same loads do not flow in other guns. I could probably stone the pin a little and peen the firing pin hole, but I'...

Primers are a VERY POOR indicator of excessive pressure. It is common to have "primer flow" when other conditions exist. It does not necessarily indicate high pressures. If you look at the primers from cartridges that blew guns apart, often the primer looks normal. Starting in the 1930's L...
