My step grandfather was a Traction Engine driver, my Dad travelled to all the big Steam Fairs over here and I still love the sound and smell of old fashioned Steam. 8)

A movie I enjoyed back in 1966 was "The Trap" starring Oliver Reed and Rita Tusingham, it's about a Canadian trapper who buys himself a wife, a Peabody rifle is used in the movie, I can't think of another movie featuring a Peabody Carbine.

I have just sold my Winchester Ranger cheaper version of the1300 speed pump, it was smooth and felt slicker than my Mossberg and Remington. I didn't get to use it much but it always went bang. Just don't really need a pump anymore.

Lock down for me hasn't been too different to normal. I'm pretty isolated from folks where I live and I keep a few supplies in . There's something about a muzzle loader that modern guns never have, what ever it is yours has it in bucket loads. Beautiful and capable rifle very nicely built . . . . :mrgreen:

Just heard today that the British police are not issuing any new shotgun or firearm licenses for the duration of the virus, maybe they were expecting a surge in gun numbers, heaven forbid that folks might even be able to protect them selves.... :roll:
