I have decided to let go of one of my Winchester Model 90s. This beautiful original Winchester model 90 takedown has a 24” octagonal barrel and was made in 1924. It has tons of original bluing that remains with some nice patina. It is chambered in the more powerful 22 wrf which you can still get today.


Would make a great small game rifle or addition to your collection.

Nice looking rifle chambered in a useful calibre, I have tried to get .22wrf in the UK but boy is it hard to find over here.

We can get it here pretty easily. Costs are similar to .22 magnum.
It does great on rabbit and squirrel. I have my grandfather's also and he used his for fox and coyote often.

I'm not enough of a collector to go for it, but it is a very beautiful gun - amazing to think it is just over a hundred years old and still looks so good, and presumably functions fine too.

That's why guns are so much better than so many other things people collect. A computer over two years old is often useless, but a gun over a century old often is fine.
