I noticed while walking that the swivel mounts make a lot of noise, more than my footsteps. So I got rid of it and tied loops of thin rope in the holes, then attached the sling to that. A lot quieter.

The models made for 336 will fit but will overhang off the rear of the receiver. I had one from Brockman's. Another one simple and good is the WGRS, by Williams. Both these are set it and forget it, not click adjustable.

I also watch the target for a new hole or dirt kicking up, sometimes I can't hear as well with double ear protection. And quite often somebody else shoots at the exact same time as me, so I hear their report (kind of fun when shooting 22lr, and someone nearby shoots a 450 Marlin at the same time).
