I use WW+2% tin+1% Magnum Shot. No shattering. Even quenched. Even into red clay. Decent deformation on bone or clay.
WFP bullet. Clean. Like a pipe was shoved through. Eat right up to the hole.

Ive been using Lil Gun quite a lot in various calibers. It never ceases to please me. I want to give it a try with my 30 Carbine loads for my M1 Carbine next. However, I finished up my stock of H110 by loading up about 2,200rds of 30 Carbine so I've got a while to go before I'll need to make a run ...

There’s no ballistic advantage to a 20” other than sight radius. My chronographed loads show no difference in accuracy and a slight loss of velocity with Lil’Gun in the 20”. Both Winchester 94’s and Rossi 92’s behaved the same. The 16” balances better for me. A heavy octagon works better for me on r...

Over a 14 hour period last weekend I watched a flock of vultures pick a 150# road kill deer so clean the neighbor’s dog turned its nose up at the skeleton and walked away. They started at the nose and tail. The flattened grass under the skeleton was clean. Amazing creatures.

The FMJ-FP has a hunting worthy meplat. At that speed might leave a clean 5/8” hole with little bloodshot meat with a rapid bleed-out. Those flat meplat bullets don’t plug the entrance wound with slurry so blood can easily flow outward. The Winchester Service Grade SG9W looks to have the same bullet...
