Re: not a levergun but still a fun gun
That is funny. We shot a box of shells through it and it was a "blast" shoots perfect at the point of aim and patterns real nice at 20 yards, this will make a prefect grouse gun for when we're out deer hunting.Rusty wrote:Nice piece... the only place a pump is faster is on the third shot.

240 XTP did not shoot real well out of my Rossi but laser cat 20's do. The 240 SWC should feed good right?

Currently I use the laser cat 200gr RNFP for plinking, thinking of using the 240 SWC or the 240 RNFP.

No it does not get any better. Thanks for the comments. Beautifully does not even begin to describe her. She can go from jeans and a flannel shirt in the middle of a gut pile to pin curls and all made up in a matter of minutes and be just at home in both. My Rossi, I went to the local gun shop while...

One of the twenty or so percent that are in our right minds. Another reason we make a good pair I'm left handed and shoot right, she is right handed and shoot left, same as our middle boy. After six years of shooting whit her and not listening to what she had t...

Re: Can you/do you hunt with your leverguns?
I do hunt with my 44 but not exclusively. Depends on what and where I am hunting. If up close or in the brush I'll use the 44 for deer. If I'm at longer ranges for deer I'll either use the 7x57 Mauser or my 30-06. For Bear I'm using a 350 Remington pushing a 225 Barnes TSX @ 2750FPS. Here is a pic o...

I swear by the pro chrono I love mine stupid simple to operate, and works great and is simple to use, by the way it is easy to use. I have used mine in direct sunlight and in vary cloudy weather and have never had a failure to read. You get a nice big shooting window to shoot through.
