I told a lie. I went and measured them and the BH is smaller than 71. Width 71 is 1.23, BH is 1.13
Front of receiver to back of bolt, BH 5.22, 71 is 5.74

At one time I had both a 218 bee and 32-20. Like a ##### I sold the 218. I still have the 32-20 and it is a great turkey gun. I also picked up a ruger buckeye in 32-20, and they make a great pair.

I am a big bore nut. I have a 338,358,348,2-35 Whelens,45-70and 44's. In my opinion the BLR 358 will kill stuff out to 200-250 as good as any. I traded a 308 BLR off for my 358 BLR.....Joe

I RUINED a browning 1895 30-06 by cutting the barrel down to 21" and boring it to 35 Whelen. I would rather hunt with it than any rifle I own. I am not getting rid of the rifle until after I am dead and I won't care who thinks I ruined a rifle. Life is to short, and if that's the rifle you want...

Thanks Gunnymack on the Winchester parts. I ordered one today and will try it. It developed a crack and ejector was flopping around and would not eject empty shells. thanks Joe
