Each time I went to the store over the last 6 months, it was just sitting there. Price had gone from 750.00 down to 600.00.
I had an old not so good 1917 enfield in fair shape that I wanted to trade. Short story , I gave 25.00 and walked out with it.
Before I filled out the paper work he stopped me and said , Oh yea , did you notice it's in that old caliber that no one wants? 38/55 Winchester "caliber no one wants"
![Shocked ](./images/smilies/icon_eek.gif)
While we were doing the papers he went to the back and brought out the box. It was actually new in the box. Made in 2001 if I checked it right . Last 2 # in serial is 99.
I am really blessed, I've wanted one of these ever sence I first saw them.
Got some starline brass 1.125 original length and a lee mold.
Im a happy camper
