I saw somewhere that Phoenix is putting some kind of reflective coating on the roads.

I remember years ago I took a thermometer up on the roof, usually by 1pm it would show 140° or more. That's when we knew to get off the roof !!

I will take dry heat to humidity any day. I lived through the rainy season in Mozambique for 6 years. I understand wet heat. I grew up in Arizona. I understand dry heat. I know what I prefer if I have a choice. :lol:

This -- about dogs. Don't make them walk on asphalt when it gets this hot!

You're absolutely right, Gamekeeper. It drives me bananas to see people out walking their dogs on hot asphalt.

It's Arizona..it's hot..happens every summer..since the beginning of time...you'd think people would accept and realize that, lol
