Buck Elliot, RIP

Post by Malamute »

I regret to inform the forum that Buck Elliot, AKA Dave Behling has passed at 79 years.

"Far better it is to dare mighty things, to win glorious triumphs even though checkered by failure, than to rank with those poor spirits who neither enjoy nor suffer much because they live in the gray twilight that knows neither victory nor defeat." -Theodore Roosevelt-

Isnt it amazing how many people post without reading the thread?

We are all walking the same path.
It gets scarier as you realize you're further ahead on the path than most of the people you know.

I first met Buck on the old Sixgunner site many years ago. He was always a gentleman. He shared his knowledge of firearms and always had something interesting to share. I hate seeing his kind go, but as has been said, we are all traveling that same road.

Sad to hear of his passing. I've wondered what became of him as I saw nothing from him in a long time?

Very sorry to hear it. A man who had been there and done that. He had a wealth of knowledge and is real loss to our little community.
