We are all walking the same path.
It gets scarier as you realize you're further ahead on the path than most of the people you know.

I first met Buck on the old Sixgunner site many years ago. He was always a gentleman. He shared his knowledge of firearms and always had something interesting to share. I hate seeing his kind go, but as has been said, we are all traveling that same road.

Sounds like he had a great life, with lots of loving family.

30/30 Winchester: Not accurate enough fer varmints, barely adequate for small deer; BUT In a 10" to 14" barrelled pistol; is good for moose/elk to 200 yards; ground squirrels to 300 metres

Sad to hear of his passing. I've wondered what became of him as I saw nothing from him in a long time?

He was a wonderful source for advice on leatherwork, and now he is lacing holsters with Chuck Burrows.

Travel well Dave. Godspeed. Thanks for making our world a better place. You’re with your love. Heal well all who mourn your passing. Looking forward to meeting you.

Very sorry to hear it. A man who had been there and done that. He had a wealth of knowledge and is real loss to our little community.
