Yep, and you soon learned that they weren't dirt tracks for racing either. After the wife's laundry got muddy when hanging to dry, the neighbor's have a little talk about... well, neighborliness!

If You live waaaaaaaaay out in the country where there is little traffic dirt roads are o.k. but I live in a rural area and my road is a country bypass around town. .
I soon learned to despise the "Dukes of Hazard" mentality. they paved it eight years ago and there are no fond memories here. Jim.
I drive 15 ks from town on bitumen then another 11.5 on the dirt. It's got all the features: sections of slippery clay, loose gravel, sand patches and corrugations. Seldom see another vee-hickle
