Here's the picture I posted again:
The revolver is an Uberti reproduction of the Colt Model of 1849 Dragoon, a.k.a., the "Second Model Dragoon". It is a .44-caliber (actually, a .45 by dimension, but what the heck, that's what they called it) "cap & ball" (percussion) 6-shot black powder revolver - and the sidearm carried by "Loncey Dalton Ysabel", a.k.a., the "Ysabel Kid" (pronounced "sable"), in the J.T. Edson "Floating Outfit" western series.
His primary small arm though was his bowie knife. His had an ivory handle, but I thought the stag-handled one looked nice.
My photography skills are still no where near KirkD's (and never will be), but this is one of the better pictures I've taken.
More to come - I promise!
