So glad to see you and Jess out having fun.

I sometimes drip a drop of candle wax on my capped nipple for hunting in the rain.

Or, use a "Cow's Knee" like shown on Glass' son's flintlock. Literally the hide removed from a cow's knee area, split at the front and would fit over the lock area of a rifle or fowling piece. I have a buddy who is a life long member of The American Mountain Men, and was one of the technical advisors on the movie "The Revenant".
This is plagiarized from someone else, but I love it!

I was born a gun owner.
It wasn't a choice.
I didn't become one later in life.
I was born this way.

Yes I have one but critters don't wait for it to be removed!

That's what I call hunting with the "fair chase method". Here in the states if you show up out in the woods with something that holds less than 20 rounds your considered obsolete.....not really, but you get the idea.

The pic with the fox is the best one yet......even you have a grimace this time. :D ------6
