and what an outstanding little spaniel she is!
I was invited to a pheasant shoot today and Tia worked and retrieved 22 birds for me today, well behaved and ever alert.
She even caught a rabbit but let it go the moment it squealed so soft her mouth is!
I trimmed her ears and feet the night before so they would not get too tangled in the briars.
I love her
In Pennsylvania I haven't seen 22 ringnecks in the last 22 years! You and that dog of yours are quite the team. My beagle is growing old and I haven't hunted him this winter. Arthritis in his hip knocks the pep out of him now.

I dread the day.......I try not to think about it.....
Tia is the kind of dog a lot of fellows would be proud to own.

Wow, Tia is a beautiful companion and a great hunter. You are a fortunate man. I hope you have many enjoyable days in the field together. I will share a picture of my dog. He is a Rat Terrier by the name of Buddy. He is a great friend and hunter. He hunt squirrels, barks tree on them and raccoon, possums. He really excels on rabbits and have had many great hunts with .22 rifles and handguns. Thanks for the post.

I envy you
I don't have the time, patience, or know how to train a gun dog. I've thought about getting one a couple of times but each time I've thought better of it.
