I've wanted a Remington 1890 for ages. Well, I finally found one...sort of. It's a Mitchell Arms (Uberti) "1890 Outlaw" (stupid name...) which is a 5.5" Remington 1890 replica with the 1875's under barrel lug in .44 WCF. I guess for looks, but frankly I'd rather just have a proper 1890. However, when I ran across this one a few weeks back for $299 that was it - I was hooked bad!

That's not the proper leather for it but the flap style holster I've ordered for it has yet to arrive. I'll probably hang it on a different belt as well. Given our thread this past week I though I'd better stage it a bit!

It shoots great, a bit high even with 750fps cowboy loads.

At any rate, this one will work just fine for me the few times I feel like straying from Colt clones and it's always nice to get a gun off the bucket list.
Cheers,
Oly
