Geez you make it hard.
I've got over 200 of them including some of KirkDs, and some that I promised not to share.
Here's one of my own,
leather work by JEDA and Buckle made in Bali
My grandson and a "meowie" that he found in Bali

this is a Guadalupe bass, endemic to the Texas hill country
though you won't hear it described this way, they are a threatened species, their genetics being wiped out by smallmouth stocked by TPWD during the 70s. There are only a few A-strains left in headwaters creeks, where they're isolated by waterfalls or aquifer sinkholes. They're extinct in the Blanco River, and TPWD has a hatchery program, stocking them in the Guadalupe (which is almost pointless) and they're trying to save the species by stocking them westward where there are no native bass.
We call these Texas brook trout, and a 12" fish is a good one.
She would be a "world" record fish at 22" and over 4 lbs. Where I caught her has a vent to a bat cave, and I'm sure she got this size eating baby bats. Her blue sheen shows she is probably a pure strain fish. When I caught her, there was no catch and release record program, and I wasn't about to kill her for a liver test and record, or try to haul her to a state hatchery.
I released her and told her to, "go spawn"

hey it's OT but did you know you can use a moving image for a background in Windoze? My mom sent me the a moving .gif of a stream she said would move as the background and although I don't use it myself, I set it up just to see it work, I didn't believe it. But it did.
Re: Whats the background on your computer?
Well thanks to OS's Pictorial reminder I now have one
that is very appropriate for this months background.
Unfortunately probably not appropriate enough for some to show here.
"Deer season has started
So I thought I’d better send out a reminder
About what a Whitetail Looks Like!"

Re: Whats the background on your computer?
picture of my wife and little dog, Cupcake --- unfortunately, dont have a copy re-sized to post yet. The dog is likely my favorite photography subject, the wife after that, then its the rest of my little flock of dogs and cats.
I usually keep a firearm or two near my desk to admire as i work (yes..... i work from home, not in an office cubicle somewhere ), so i have little need for them on my desktop, especially with my suspect photog skills.
Funny, with my job as an insurance adjuster, some days i take over 700 pics, you'd think i'd be better at it than i am, but taking pictures for an insurance claim is far different from taking nice portrait quality pics others can admire

Yes, it's a lighthouse. It is located at Point Fermin on the Palos Verdes Peninsula, in Southern California. It's been restored and is now a museum, with a pretty nice park surrounding it.casastahle wrote:jeepnik wrote:I use these two quite a bit.

Which Computer?
Normally I run with the standard Windo$e Space Telescope stuff, but that's because I'm too lazy to put together a different slide show.
However, I do have These:
