I know there must be some excellent regional brands out there. We used to have a brand in Oregon -- Hoody Peanuts -- that graded at least a B+ but I believe that outfit went under.
Hampton Farms bills their peanuts as "fancy" but the only thing fancy about these miserable excuses for an honest goober pea is the fanciful lies told by their advertising department.
OK. Laugh if you want to, but I miss sitting down with a bowl of roasted in-the-shell peanuts and spending a blissful half-hour.

I would be ashamed to let my Texas-born Methodist grandmother even see these peanuts they sell today. She grew up with peanuts and fish fries on the ranch up on the Canadian and loved to crack peanuts with her grandkids, giving a big smile when one of us got a triple.
