I've never used them turned around like that Lenn but I keep a bleach jug, with the side cut about 1/4th away, full of them for use on a lot of stuff. When we cover up at a gun show we use them to clip the covers together.

I've can't remember being without a motorcycle since I was 15 and I'm 81 now but, several years the only bike I had was a BSA Goldstar. You know, a 500 single quite like the Victor only with maybe a stiffer suspension. Mostly I remember only riding when it wanted to start. Mostly it didn't. Don't I ...

Cool ride Bro! Snowing like crazy here most all day. Right at 32 and the ground is still warm but so hard and long it is building up on the grass and leaf covered ground. Bet we've had 6 or 8 inches already but only a couple on the ground at this point. Supposed to turn around to night and come back...

I got the lid off that big can and it's still got oil in it. When the jobber truck came by that can is what the bulk oil came in. We poured that into the lubster.

After the war, (WWII) a buddy of Dad's gave me a muzzle loading sxs and a Remington Rolling Block he had liberated. A lot of good questions and answers. My experience is that Winchester barrels are way big. .431 for my 1886 mfg 73 and the same for my Miroku 73 while the two Uberti 73s I have are .429. I have a very well worn 73 SRC from 1886 in 44 and it works just fine. I did put a set of new toggles in it mostly so it now has modern steel holding the bolt in place. You could shim the top front corners of the elevator block. A little weld and file to fit? Or many CAS shooters are going to alumin...
