That's really well done, but don't you think your rifle box is a little short?

Re: Might be able to ride this.
Cool ride Bro! Snowing like crazy here most all day. Right at 32 and the ground is still warm but so hard and long it is building up on the grass and leaf covered ground. Bet we've had 6 or 8 inches already but only a couple on the ground at this point. Supposed to turn around to night and come back tomorrow with slightly lower temp. Hello black ice!

Thanks Ron, we like riding bicycles but with this bad hip i can`t ride a regular bike so built this with the idea i can get on it and with two peddling have twice the HP.M. M. Re: Might be able to ride this.
Man, that's cool. I love little rideable things. I want to take advantage of todays tech and prices. We can now get an entire 2 stroke motor kit for a bicycle for under a hundred dollars and for a few hundred we can get an electric conversion. I want to build an electric, gas, pedal powered ride. Tri-power.

Re: Might be able to ride this.
Thanks guys but they frown on riding anything motorized on the bike trails here though if under so many CC`s is legal you`ll get harassed by some ignorant people.
If i ever did convert it i think i would go electric then they wouldn`t hear it running and ya could fake peddling as ya go by them.

Re: Might be able to ride this.
Had to narrow up the handle bars so it will fit in the van, funny shape but will work.
Might wish i`d of used speed bikes instead it peddles pretty hard but on payment and flat ground should work.

Re: Might be able to ride this.
Lenn, I think you ought to rig up a whizzer engine in that cargo box just in case you get too pooped to pedal back to the van. Getting too pooped for the return is something I am good at.
Re: Might be able to ride this.
Clever Lenn!
I think Bill has the right idea! If you don't have a Whizzer motor, take the motor out of the Shovel head.

"Oh bother", said Pooh, as he chambered another round.
Re: Might be able to ride this.
I`m worried about pooped too Bill, was just reading about motorized bikes on the paved bike trails here and it doesn`t sound friendly .
Just have to wait and see how it goes, i don`t have any long trips planned maybe a mile or two.
About a mile down the trail there`s a hole in the ground where there was a cabin in a field where my mother was born i want to go investigate that.
Thanks Jay i know i wouldn`t get away with that.

Re: Might be able to ride this.
Haha yeah. Just fun to contemplate.
Saw a video one time of a four wheeler someone stuffed an Evo in. Wow.
I just mentioned it to my dad yesterday, as the transmission is acting up on our 4 wheeler. Told him we should pull the Twin Cam outta the Softail!

Re: Might be able to ride this.
That's kind of cool. I have a fat tire bike, that I was considering turning into a trike, and I might still yet. I never thought about just add another full bicycle to it.
In your case, if you are not ever going to have a second person riding and peddling with you, I would probably remove the chain, peddles and handlebars from the off side bike, to reduce weight, since you have the steering figured out and connected together. Of course leaving it in tact, gives you options, like riding whichever bike is on the high side of a steep side hill trail. Of I guess if you threw one chain, you might be able to switch to the other side.
