I've always looked upon my stuff as "things". I rarely get emotionally attached to them. I find myself getting more pragmatic the older I get.

The only VV powder I have found that mimics 2400 is N110. You can actually load much hotter loads with it than 2400, but I've never had the need, urge, etc. N110 will also have significantly less flash, blast, and soot than 2400.

We have a great (and house shaking loud) early warning system. Our Pyrenees barks at any sound it deems to be from a threat. A leaf hitting the window at 3am is a good example.
